On 3 June Ivens held a Big Country BBQ staff party. This was held in our own workshop, which was completely transformed for the occasion into the Wild West. On the crazy cans, the cowboys and cowgirls could compete in a game of cans. The photoboat provided a nice reminder of the evening.
A refreshing aperitif at the saloon was followed by a delicious BBQ buffet. Not a single morsel was left!
Before we could move on to dessert, the 40 and 30 years of service (congratulations Donald and Willy!) and the recently retired (a well-deserved rest to François, Mohamed and Guido!) were celebrated. Another
important result had to be announced: the awards for toughest cowboy, most beautiful cowgirls and the best country couple (congratulations to Tuur, Dominique and Gino & Rita). But it has to be said: it was a difficult choice. There were beautiful outfits in abundance!
After dessert it was time for a dance, a chat and a drink until the small hours.
The horses were late getting back to the stables!
